We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Performance Analyst to join our team at Birmingham HQ.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful commercial insight, communicating clearly with stakeholders, challenging the status quo and influencing decision-making that drives sustainable business growth. You'll work closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance and senior stakeholders to protect profitability, improve commercial outcomes and support a culture of disciplined, data-driven decision-making, where insight is translated into clear recommendations and effective communication drives action.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Commercial Performance team, you'll be responsible for protecting and enhancing profitability across the business. Your role will include:
- Analysing profitability, margin performance and P&L results across customers, departments and the wider business.
- Monitoring actual versus expected profitability and identifying trends, risks, value leakage and opportunities for corrective action.
- Providing commercial insight and recommendations to support pricing, proposals, onboarding, margin protection and strategic decision-making.
- Challenging loss-making activity, margin erosion, additional costs and low-quality revenue while supporting named corrective actions.
- Govern agreed commercial KPIs and exception reports, including rate queries, rate loading, loss files, NCRs and additional costs.
- Acting as a trusted business partner to Commercial, Operations and senior leadership teams.
- Supporting commercial proposals and onboarding by confirming agreed margins, P&L requirements, rate readiness and controls.
- Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement through scalable processes, robust analysis and commercial discipline.

- Experience assessing pricing quality, commercial viability and expected versus actual profit outcomes.
